Fifty hours for a hundred and eighty six words is statistically a short time spent on reading, but in that period a pilgrimage enlightening me as to attachment to family, loyalty to love and solicitude for parental affection is arduous to reach the destination. The suffering and bliss interspersed from adolescence to adulthood in our real lives are about the same as the four siblings experienced during their growth, say, the prospect of career, the pursuit of love, etc. For all that, they respectively accomplish their dreams at the cornerstone of faith to home in spite of making a little modification up to a point.
Five souls depict their ideal castles in the air to readers in chapter thirteen, initially indicating their future whereas the matters proceed in other directions. Laurie wants to be a reputable musician settled in Germany; Meg yearns for a luxurious life; Jo desires to be a renowned writer; Beth is to help take care of family; Amy wishes to go to Rome as an excellent artist. Frankly speaking, I appreciate Beth in the first part for her considerate and slender character, considering the indigence encumbering the splendid dreams from realization. Haplessly, it is the kindness that afflicts Beth to death by and by. Meg is the oldest and the most commonplace from my viewpoint.
