虽然穿越剧集一般说来比较俗，但老虎的《Lance et compte: Le moment de vérité》一书俗出了水平。写作方法新颖，语言幽默，故事情节引人入胜，人物刻划性格显明，最重要的没有当下剧集"流行"的为吸引读者而泛滥的色情描写。编剧的历史学得很好，有才。唯一不足是要钱太频，诉苦太多，叫人反感。总之，这是一本可读的书。
